Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year!Top of Page
This school year marks new beginnings for all of us. While no one is sure yet how long distance learning will continue, we do know that it won't last forever. Our students take cues from adult behavior and attitudes, so it is so important that we all (parents & educators) communicate calm, confidence, and optimism that we will pull through this crisis together. Managing our own emotions will help our children stay focused on learning and looking forward to each day of this new school year.
Our teachers and support staff have put in an incredible amount of hard work to prepare for this school year. I ask that we all work on giving grace to each other over these first few weeks of school. We are giving our best effort to make distance learning a success for our raccoons. We know you are too!
Please keep in mind...
- This is hard, and not ideal. Things will go wrong at times. It is okay to accept that.
- This is not permanent.
- We will grow from this in many ways. As human beings, adaptability is one of the greatest skills we can learn.
- We will work hard every day to meet the needs of our students.
- Our staff is committed to providing our students with the best education possible.
- Give everyone grace.
